Mark Smith is the Head of Payments and Global Liquidity Solutions for Transaction Banking (TxB) at Goldman Sachs, which he joined in 2019. In his role, Mark is responsible for developing, marketing and managing all of TxB’s products relating to payments, cash concentration, notional pooling, money market fund sweeps and virtual accounts.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mark was head of Global Liquidity at Bank of America, where he managed the firm's corporate deposit portfolio and led major growth and change initiatives. Earlier in his career, Mark held various roles within the CFO organization in London, Hong Kong and New York.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science at the University of Bristol in the UK, and is a UK Chartered Accountant.
