Ryan O’Connor is Global Head of Product Development and Management for Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s ETF business. Previously, Ryan was responsible for overseeing Strategist Model Portfolios and managing the team’s global business strategy. He joined Goldman Sachs as a vice president in 2017.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan spent 11 years at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), most recently as a member of the firms’ Senior Leadership Team and head of ETF model portfolios based in Boston. While at SSGA, he led the US Capital Markets Group based in New York, established the UCITS SPDR ETF platform as European Head of Capital Markets based in London, and served as a member of the Global Corporate Strategy team.
Ryan holds a BA from Bates College and an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
