Evelyn Varner is the head of Advice Enablement in the Wells Fargo Advice and Planning Center of Excellence where she is responsible for the strategy and development of tools, technology and applications in support of a modern, individualized and compelling client and advisor experience.
She joined Wells Fargo from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she was a digital planning executive responsible for developing and implementing omni-channel digital planning platforms and customer experience initiatives. The new Bank of America Life Plan™ offering was one of the high-profile initiatives Evelyn led during her 10 years with the company.
Passionate about delivering “advice for everyone”, Evelyn is committed to the development of digitally enabled solutions and experiences that elegantly help meet clients’ financial needs no matter their level of wealth or life stage. She serves as the head of Product and the Agile product owner for Advice & Planning.
Evelyn started her career at GE research and development as a lead statistician focused on risk-based pricing, aircraft and freight train engine reliability, and predictive modeling. She holds a B.A in Finance and an M.S in Applied Statistics and Operations Research from Union College Schenectady NY.
She lives in Hopkinton, MA on a small hobby farm with her husband Curt, two children Sofie and Jack, 2 dogs and myriad farm animals.
