Samantha Trebesch believes in the power of financial advice to help individuals and businesses reach their goals. As the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Raymond James’ Private Client Group (PCG), Samantha leads a team of strategists responsible for a range of projects to enhance advisor experience, business productivity, risk management, and operational efficiency. She is co-founder and chair of Raymond James' Sustainable Investing Advisory Council, leading sustainable finance and impact reporting initiatives across PCG and engaging with advisors and their clients on the topic of ESG.

Prior to joining Raymond James in 2016, Samantha was a career high school mathematics and computer science educator, teaching college prep courses and leading teams of teachers as department chair. While employed with the United Nations in Hanoi, Vietnam, she founded a microfinance organization to teach students financial literacy principles through tangible impact, focused on building economic prosperity of historically marginalized Vietnamese women farmers.

Samantha earned her bachelor's degree from Boston University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where she majored in Finance and Marketing. She is the national co-chair of Raymond James’ Women Inclusion Network and serves on the finance committee of Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA), a nonprofit committed to ending domestic violence.
