Karen Swiatocha serves as Head of Retail Network Transformation and Branch Operations for Citizens. She oversees strategy and branch operations across Citizens’ retail footprint, which consist of 3,300 ATMs and approximately 1,200 branches in 14 states in the New England, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions.
As a seasoned strategic and operational leader, Karen leverages a customer-focused mindset, key business partnerships and strong team building skills to drive, influence and proactively manage complex transformations. She leads Citizens’ retail network transformation to reimagine local branches as robust financial advice centers, while incorporating industry-leading technology to make customers’ day-to-day transactions seamless.
Karen has been with Citizens for 20 years, and she is a member of Citizens’ Executive Leadership Group. She has held a variety of roles across the business, including Risk Management, Consumer Product Management, Payments and Cash Management, Fraud and Change Management. She is a graduate of Connecticut College with a double major in International Relations and Dance.
