As Executive Vice President of NCR’s Banking, Payments and ATM Network Group and Head of Strategy and M&A, Don is responsible for NCR’s overarching strategy, including long-term planning, strategic investments, and mergers and acquisitions. He also leads the NCR business group responsible for providing end-to-end banking, ATM, network and payments solutions.

Before joining NCR, Don served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and President and CEO of USA Technologies (CTLP:NASDAQ), the leading provider of integrated software and payments solutions for unattended retail. Don also served as Executive Chairman and previously as Interim CEO of SafetyPay, a Latin American alternative payments provider, until its sale to PaySafe (PAY:NASDAQ), and as President, Metavante International and Senior Executive VP, General Counsel, and Secretary of Metavante Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:MV) until it’s merger with Fidelity National to create FIS Global (FIS:NYSE).

Don has also held executive-level positions with Fiserv and Marshall & Ilsey Corporation. Don has advised venture capital and private equity groups and served as a director of three public companies, including Online Resources Corporation (ORCC:NASDAQ) and Firstsource Solutions (FSL:NSE India) and several private fintech and payments companies throughout his career, including TxVia, AutoBooks, MicroNotes, HSP and Passage.

Don holds a Juris Doctor with honors from Marquette University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Marquette University. In 2013 Marquette recognized him as its Alumnus of the Year, and in 2015 he was recognized as a Distinguished Eagle Scout. Don is chair of the board of United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties and of Ascension Wisconsin Healthcare. Additionally he serves on several other nonprofit boards, including Social Current, the successor by merger of the Council on Accreditation and the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, Alverno College, a federally designated Hispanic serving educational institution, where he is the immediate past chair of the board, and Consuelo Foundation, dedicated to the elimination and prevention of child abuse and neglect in the Philippines and Hawaii, where he chairs the Finance and Investment Committee.
