Erin is Co-Head of Responsible Investing—Cross Function, where she leads the firm’s ESG Research and Strategy. In her role she partners with members of each of our investment teams to support the buildout of their ESG processes as well as senior leadership, investment and non-investment teams to implement the firm’s ESG strategy. Prior to joining MacKay Shields in 2021, Erin led a team of client advisors at Sustainalytics, where she was responsible for supporting global asset managers in their adoption and integration of sustainability data, processes and development of ESG approach. Erin also
spent over eight years with UBS Investment Bank where she held positions such as US Equity Salestrader, working with European and Asian asset managers, as well as Capital Introduction, advising hedge fund managers on the capital raising process. Erin earned her Bachelors of Science in International Business & Management from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and is a Candidate for a Masters in Sustainability Management from Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. She holds a Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK. She has been in the industry since 2010.
