Cecilia Tamez is the Chief Strategy Officer for Euronet’s Money Transfer Division, facilitating business strategy and leading data science. She started as the fifth employee at Xe almost twenty years ago and supported the growth of the company until its acquisition by Euronet in 2015. She continues to work at Euronet in a leadership role, expanding her remit across Xe, Ria Money Transfer, and their most recent brand, Dandelion cross-border payments network. Cecilia is a frequent public speaker on the importance of cross-border payments – with a special focus on emerging markets, as well as data science innovation in the fintech space.
