Matthew is a seasoned professional with a 17-year career in Retail Banking. He is passionate about driving innovation & building strong partnerships, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, developing successful payment products, and implementing strategic initiatives.

Until recently, Matthew led the Payments Product & Partnerships agenda at Barclays, covering Retail, Business, and Private Banking, with a focus on Tokenization, Mobile, and New Payments. In this pivotal role, he was instrumental in transforming payment solutions for Barclays customers. HIs expertise extends to product management, strategic direction, and executing transformative changes in alignment with market trends. Building crucial relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders was an integral part of his role, all in pursuit of the overarching objective of 'top of wallet.'

Matthew holds a Masters Degree in Business Strategy & Leadership from the Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management & Leadership.
