How banking in the Netherlands has become increasingly digital, leading to fewer branches and to new initiatives to serve clients taking inclusivity into account. This session will discuss the transformation of retail banking in the Netherlands. As consumers increasingly prefer to use their mobile phones for their banking services, and banks continue to improve and enhance their digital offering, we are seeing an enormous impact on the number of branches. At the same time, an active inclusive approach towards clients who need support, remains key.
